Sri Lanka under-19 girls Rishmi Sanjana and Pamoda Shaini played smashing knocks with their bats as the former hit an unbeaten 172 off 84 balls (4×32 and 6×2) and the latter made115 off 49 balls (4×19 and 6×5) to guide Anura Vidyalaya Matara to a 313 run win over Singapore Friendship College Weeraketiya to end the first round of the girls under-19 division II cricket tournament organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association on a high note.
Rishmi and Pamoda shared in a 202-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
Anura Vidyalaya is a formidable team this season as they have the services of three Sri Lanka under 19 players in Rishmi Sanjana, Rashmika Sewwandi and Pamoda Shaini.
