SLT-Mobitel teams up with HNB

4 December, 2022

SLT-Mobitel has teamed up with Hatton National Bank on a nation-building exercise, Rata Dinana Singiththo, a value proposition conceptualised by Hatton National Bank to empower the children of migrant workers.

As Sri Lanka faces numerous challenges especially on the economic and social fronts, the migrant workers play a crucial role in contributing towards the betterment of the nation’s economy.

In recognition of the untiring service and commitment rendered by migrant workers and their families in Sri Lanka, HNB together with HNB Assurance and SLT-Mobitel as primary partners launched Rata Dinana Singiththo, under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment, Ministry of Labour and Foreign Employment and Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.

The program will run as a national-level competition to encourage the children of the migrant workers whilst rewarding their talents in the fields of art and literature such as painting, dancing, singing, and essay writing.

As a brand that is committed to supporting national-level initiatives, SLT-Mobitel continues to play an integral role by partnering with such programs, taking Sri Lanka toward the next phase of digital advancement.
