People’s Leasing and Finance PLC (PLC bagged an accolade as the winner of the “Finance Category” at the fourth edition of the CSE Masterminds Quiz 2022 organised by the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) recently.
The event was held at the Waters Edge Hotel with 67 teams representing Institutions from financial, non-bank financial, private, and state sectors islandwide taking part.
The teams were divided into seven categories based on their core area of business and were awarded for the excellence in each category. Global Economy and Capital Markets, Sports and Entertainment, International Business, Sri Lankan Economy and Business, Sri Lankan Stock Market, Name the Listed Company were the focused areas of the competition.
PLC was the winner in the Finance Category while DFCC Bank (Team 1), Amana Takaful Insurance, CT CSLA, ZeroBeta, Ansell Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, and Acuity Knowledge Partners won special accolades for topping their categories. Winning PLC team comprised Chamodya Gunawardena, Shiranga Arseculeratne, Prasadi N. Leelarathna, Tharanga Gamlath, and Erandathi Kumarasena.
