The annual Christmas Carols at York International School, Wattala was held recently at the Arpico premises, Wattala.
The event commenced with the welcoming of the assistant Parish Priest of Palliawatta, Rev. Fr. Shirantha Niroshan, Chairman of York International School, Rohan Perera, Directors Roshane Perera and Deshan Perera, CEO of the network, Rohan L. Perera, COO of York Graduate Campus, Uditha Priyanga and Branch Principals of the York network Surandi Mallawarachchi and Kanchana Dassanayaka, former Principal of YISW Sarojini Guruge and the Principal of YISW Ms. Srinali Perera.
The event consisted of the Nativity of Jesus, carol singing and a drama of the senior drama club. Messages were delivered by Rev. Fr. Niroshan and the CEO of York network. The arrival of Santa Claus added glamour to the evening.
