India recorded a massive 91-run win over the touring Sri Lankan side in the 3 rd and final T-20 match in Rajkot to clinch 3 match bilateral T-20 series.
India who won the toss and elected to bat first scored a mammoth 228 runs for a loss of 5 wickets with the courtesy of their star batter Suryakumar Yadav who scored a brilliant century of 112 off 51 balls and some other classy efforts of his fellow batters Rahul Tripathi and Shubman Gill. In the reply, Sri Lanka never found any rhythm or momentum in their innings where they failed to build up any significant partnership throughout the inning and kept losing wickets in regular intervals to get bowled out for just 137 runs in 16.4 overs to give India the game and the series victory.
