Two renowned netball coaches in Hyacinth Wijesinghe and Tilaka Jinadasa will face an interview for the job of national coach today (22) in Torrington in Colombo.
The interviews will be conducted by the Sri Lanka Netball Federation (SLNF) to prepare the national netball team ahead of the World Cup coming up in South Africa from July 28 to August 6 this year.
Another candidate vying for national coach’s position is Somitha de Alwis.
The Federation will also conduct interviews to select an assistant coach.
There are two former Sri Lanka captains who have applied for this position. They are Shashikala Samarasinghe and PD Prasadi according to Lakshmi Victoria the president of the SLNF. (TBR)
