A team called the Dhaka Riders beat the Cordova Kings in the final of the Batch of 2000 Zahira College Colombo Old Boys event known as the Battle of the Millennium cricket series held at the Shalika ground in Colombo.
Eight teams took part in the tournament. The Best Batsman was Dhaka Riders’ Irfan Saleem, Best Bowler Delhi Royals’ Malik Manan and Man of the Final Dhaka Riders’ Farzan Ramalan who received trophies.
President of the Batch of 2000 Shafraz Salley, Past Presidents of the Batch of 2000 Riyaz Cassim, Jawfer-us Sadiq, Mohamed Rilwan, General Secretary Hazmil Hamdoon and other members graced the occasion.
