A hamper of Lion Beer was presented to Chairman, Fairmacs, Sudhir Shete, by the Deputy High Commissioner at the launch ceremony in Chennai.
For the first time in history one of Sri Lanka’s renowned global spirit brands successfully unveiled its presence in the Indian market.
Due to an initiative made by Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in Sout India Dr. Venkateshwaran to promote Sri Lankan products in the Indian market, steps were taken by Lion Brewery PLC, Sri Lanka and Fairmacs (Pvt) Ltd, Chennai, India.
The first commercial consignment reached Chennai recently.
