Buddhist Affairs Commissioner General Sunanda Kariyapperuma yesterday said that arrangements have been made to hold the State Vesak festival at 1 pm at Kebellewela Sri Rathanasiri Piriven Vihara in Chilaw under the theme of ‘Be a light to yourself’.
This event will be held under the patronage of the Mahanayake Theras of three Chapters with the participation of President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and Buddha Sasana Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Vidura Wickramanayake.
