The grand draw of the People’s Bank’s ‘People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai, Ewannai Dinannai’ bonanza, to choose the super winner of the Rs. 10 million grand prize took place at the People’s Bank, Overseas Customer Services premises, Colombo 10 recently.
The daily and weekly award winners from December 13 to December 31, 2022, and the December millionaire were also drawn at the event.
People’s Bank’s ‘People’s Remittance Vaasi Kotiyai, Ewannai Dinannai’ awards was launched in February last year, to encourage and appreciate the Sri Lankan foreign workers who work tirelessly to strengthen the country’s economy as well as to uplift the living standards of them and their families.
In this program, the year-end super winner was awarded a grand cash prize of Ten Million Rupees. The awards also chose monthly winners of Rs. 1 million every month, 48 lucky weekly winners of 22 carat gold coins and 334 daily winners who won cash prizes of Rs. 10,000 each throughout its duration.
