The Satharawa Deepani felicitation ceremony, organised under the guidance of Minister of Transport, Highways and Media, Dr. Bandula Gunawardena was held at the BMICH on Thursday. President Ranil Wickremesinghe was the chief guest. Tributes were paid to a group of veteran directors and actors who had contributed to the films produced by Dr. Gunawardena.
