The Ceylon Motor Cycle Club (CMCC) which celebrates its 75th anniversary conducted a race meet last Saturday at the Mirigama circuit and one of the highlights was the participation of enthusiastic young rider from the age group of seven years.
This junior event saw many who have competed in other meets in the under-10 age group too in action.
The most interesting event was the Group O Standard Motor Cycles 160cc where Chenuka Caldera, the young son of Maduranga a former national champion, rode against the experienced Nikila Pathirage who won the event.
