Sri Lanka women’s volley team leave for Central Asian show

Sri Lanka’s women’s volleyball team will participate in the Central Asia Women’s Challenge Cup tournament to take place in Katmandu, Nepal at a six day tournament commencing on May 22.

Sri Lanka is in Group ‘B’ and will play their opening game against Uzbekistan on May 22. They will then face Kazakhstan on May 23 and the Maldives on May 24.

Hosts and defending champions Nepal are in Group ‘A’ and will take on Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh and India. The grand final will be battled out on May 28.
