Minister of Sustainable Development and Wild Life Gamini Jayawickreme Perera requests the public to come forward with any reliable information on the pair of tusks seized by the special police operations in Tantirimale-Anuradhapura on Friday(29).
Minister Jayawickreme Perera added persons providing accurate info will be rewarded.
The police on Friday arrested three suspects while attempting to sell a pair of elephant tusks for Rs.5 million.
The pair of tusks which were being prepared for sale were recovered from Tantirimale.
