The children’s play Laughing Dreams directed by Sachithra Rahubadda is set to take part in the Jashnebachpan international Children's Theatre Festival, organized by National Drama School Of India, Delhi. The group performing Laughing Dreams is named the ‘Red Apple Theater gathering’ and they will stage the play on November 23. Laughing Dreams won 14 awards at the State Children’s Drama Festival in 2015 including awards for Best Production, Best Script, Best Choreography, and Best Actress. Rahubadda is a former student of the Tower Hall Theatre Foundation.
The participation of the Red Apple Theater gathering at the Jashnebachpan International Children's Theatre Festival has been sponsored by the Department of Cultural Affairs under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka.
