In spite of the pro-Rajapaksa opposition making the Treasury Bond scandal of 2015 one of its main slogans against the ruling UNF administration, guests were shocked to see Arjun Aloysius, the Perpetual Holdings Director and key suspect in the Bond investigation at St Mary’s Church Bambalapitiya last Monday (28).
Aloysius who was recently released on bail after nearly one year in remand in the Central Bank Bond case, appeared to be sporting a pink tie at the wedding of Rohitha Rajapaksa and Tatyana Lee.
State Minister Ranjan Ramanayake, also confirmed that Aloysius had been among the guests at the church wedding held five days after the ceremony in Weeraketiya.
The former President’s youngest son and his wife also participated in a Hindu wedding ritual a few days later.
