The management of NSBM Green University Town hosted the first ever NSBM Talent Show and Pageant - Green Flames, a festive event that showcased students’ talents.
A breath-taking stage, like never before, was created at the NSBM premises to give the audience a unique experience. It is a creative masterpiece, a floating stage which was created on the large pond in the middle of the University.
The Top 10 finalists of the Talent Show were chosen by two initial audition rounds and the 12 finalists for each NSBM Mr and Ms. Pageants judged by a panel of industry experts. The variety and unique talents of the finalists added glamour and was a thrilling experience for the audience.
The event was graced by Deputy Minister Buddhika Pathirana who was welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. E A Weerasinghe and Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake of NSBM Green University Town.
Associate Prof. Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Deans of the three Faculties, School of Business, Computing and Engineering together with other academic and non-academic staff also participated at the event. Over a crowd of 2000 were witness to the exciting evening,
