A praiseworthy concert which spotlighted the artistic and entertainment skills of the residential prison inmates was held at the BMICH recently. Organised by the Commissioner of Prisons Chandana Ekanayake and supervised by the Prison Commissioner General Wijenath Thennakoon, the concert was outstanding. The chief guest was Minister Thalatha Athukorale and the concert was another phase in the program to rehabilitate the prison inmates. Singers Indrani Perera, Keerthi Pasquel, Nirosha Virajini and Damitha Abeyrathne also performed with the inmates. The photographer was Saman Sri Wedage.
