McQuire conducted a training program on “Preparing youth to face interviews confidently” to a group of over 60 school-leavers in the North.
McQuire initiated the project by getting each participant to declare the selected profession line and indicate their likes and dislikes.
Head of Human Resources at MVIO, Sineth Withanage outlined on what to include in a CV and how to face an interview. Varaniya Selvarajah did the translation.
Trainer Roshini Hettihewa delivered a talk on grooming and etiquette, educating them the appropriate dress code and mannerisms when facing an interview. Kiruthika and Silvia assisted her in the translations.
The second session was for the schoolchildren in the Ordinary Level or Advanced Level grades.
