The Sri Lanka Association of Vessel Operators (SLAVO) felicitated key stakeholders of the shipping industry at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo following their Annual General Meeting recently.
Chairman, Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Gen (Rtd). Daya Ratnayake, Director General of Customs, Maj.Gen. (Rtd.) Vijitha Ravipriya, Additional Director General of Customs, Sunil Jayarathne, Director General of Merchant Shipping, Ajith Seneviratne, Harbour Master Capt. Nirmal Silva and CEOs of two private terminals: Jack Huang of CICT and Romesh David of SAGT were also present.SLAVO is one of the oldest associations in the maritime industry in Sri Lanka. It is also the only organisation that represents ship owners and principals.
