A 14-year old boy in the cricket crazy town of Moratuwa has hammered what could be the fastest 50 in just 13 balls.
Umeth Peiris of Champ Cricket Academy hit six sixes and three fours against a team called Bradfield Cricket Academy at an inter academy Under-15 championship at Moratuwa Vidyalaya ground recently.His victorious team scored 214 for 5 wickets in their allotted 30 overs and Peiris was 58 not out.
