The Kollywood movie star, Vijay Sethupathi withdrawed from the movie named ‘800’, the biopic of the Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan.
The decision was made by the actor responding to the request of the cricketer himself.
The film caught controversy as the Tamil nationalists, some politicians and film personalities of Tamil Nadu accused Muralitharan of supporting the Sri Lankan Government during the civil war with LTTE.
