Honorable Speaker assents the Bill entitled "20th Amendment to the Constitution" short while ago at his office today (29), Neil Iddawala, the Chief of Staff and Deputy Secretary General of Parliament.
In the presence of Secretary General of Parliament and Deputy Secretary General of Parliament, it becomes the Law of the country now onwards.
The existence of the "Constitutional Council' is abolished forthwith. All provisions of the act (Law) now in operation.
