Mobile broadband service provider, Hutch received the rare recognition of being the only Telecom brand to have clinched awards at the Sri Lanka Brand Leadership Awards 2020 recently.

The twin awards that Hutch were, ‘Best Marketing Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Emerging Brand of the Year’.

The ‘Best Marketing Campaign of the Year award’ was in recognition of Hutch’s ‘Be Anywhere’ – 4G coverage campaign while ‘Emerging Brand of the Year’ award was in recognition of the company’s overall brand performance in 2020.

Chief Marketing Officer of Hutch, RamzeenaMorseth Lye said, “We are truly honoured and proud to win two big accolades from one of the world’s most sought-after award events.

“Our entire team’s dedication and commitment have earned us these awards.

“These accolades further inspire us to march ahead and serve the nation with affordable and unique mobile solutions.”

‘Sri Lanka Brand Leadership’ is an annual awards accolade organized by CMO Asia, a premium platform that recognizes outstanding contributions of the marketing fraternity. Held this year as a virtual event, Sri Lanka Brand Leadership Awards 2020 recognized best organizations, brands and individuals for their commitment towards branding, consumer engagement and making a social change through impact-driven contributions.

Executive Director of CMO Asia, Dr. AlokPandit said, “Among the nominees, Hutch emerged as the only telecommunication services provider to be recognized at this year’s awards and that must be an extremely proud moment for the Telecom brand.”
