‘Now United’, a group formed with immensely talented artists from all over the world, is a dance and music group crossing the barriers of language, culture and nationality through music. It consists of 16 members at present.

In 2016, Simon Fuller, the creator of “Idols” a popular reality show, started scavenging for talent throughout the world in order to fulfill the dream of creating the first ever global pop group.

Auditions took place with the help of online platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and Facebook. They were judged using expert choreographers, vocal coaches and songwriters.

Fourteen selected

Later under the guidance and planning of Fuller, 14 individuals were chosen from various countries. It was later disclosed that the addition of more members may occur in the future if audiences respond positively towards their work.

The 14 candidates were revealed from 11th to 22nd of November 2017. ‘Now United’ released their first Single “Summer in the City” on “Al Gore’s 24 Hours of reality”, a global broadcast intended to raise awareness around the global climate crisis.

From April, 2018, the wholesome group began their first tour “Promo World Tour” in Moscow, Russia with a spectacular performance at the Voice Kids Russia.

By mid-2019, two new members were added to the group. The first member was from Australia and the second was from North Africa. The group started their ”Dreams Come True” tour on November 17 last year in Brazil and it ended on November 24. This tour featured three new songs “Live this Moment”, “Na Na Na”, and “Dana Dana”.

Although their “Come Together Tour was due to commence, it was postponed as most countries were quarantined causing members to return to their home countries.

Nevertheless, they worked on music such as “Let the Music move You”, “Wake Up”, “Stand Together” (Released for Covid-19 Pandemic and Black Lives Matter) and “Feel it Now” which was filmed by each member in their home country. On September 5, Diarra confirmed her departure from the group. At the same time a new member joined from Lebanon.
