Thundershowers expected at few places 2pm

A few showers will occur in Eastern and Uva provinces, stated the Department of Meteorology.   

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m. 

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers. 

Misty conditions can be expected at Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces during the morning.
