Out of nine, one Indian fisherman tested positive for Covid-19 after the 14 day quarantine.
They were apprehended by the Sri Lankan Navy along with the trawler illegally poaching in Sri Lankan waters on 09th.
The infected fisherman was directed to the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Kilinichchi and rest of the fishermen were directed to 14 day quarantine again on the instructions of the Jaffna Regional Epidemiologist.
