A Twitter user recently unearthed a precious artifact from the past, a throwback Disney Channel video that brings us back to the good old days. The video, which features the Cheetah Girls actors Sabrina Bryan, Kiely Williams, and Adrienne Bailon, plus Brenda Song and a young Demi Lovato, is an adorable throwback — a total treasure, as far as we’re concerned.
The video, which appears to have been recorded by Sabrina, surfaced on Twitter and is just over a minute long. “This is such a rare OG I’m CRYING,” wrote the Twitter user. In the video , we see our faves in a bathroom getting ready for what seems to be the 2008 Disney Channel Games. Sabrina is filming on her phone while Kiely poses in the mirror; Demi puts on makeup while Adrienne and Brenda do a cheer, which Kiely says sounds “terrible” as they all laugh. Sabrina also takes a moment to “introduce” Demi, who’s new on the scene and starring in a little film called Camp Rock. Aw, the good old days! The group seems to really enjoy spending time together and it gives us major ‘friends getting ready together’ vibes — with some added nostalgia, of course.
Fans were obsessed with the old school vibes of the video, both for the younger versions of their fave stars and for the reminder of an era long past. “My now 26 yr old self looking back at this,” tweeted one, sharing a pic of a dried-out Spongebob. “Wow I love this video so wrote another. “Okay so wtf did this just make every shiver of nostalgia in my body come out ... I’ve never seen this but literally, all of them are my childhood,” reminisced one nostalgic fan.
