The National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) of Sri Lanka has approved ‘Sputnik V’ COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use, Acting Health Minister and State Minister of Pharmaceuticals Supply and Production Prof. Channa Jayasumana said.
Sputnik V is a COVID-19 vaccine developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, the Russian Ministry of Health.
