Senura Silva of Ananda College and Bimandee Bandara of Hillwood College Kandy clinched two titles each at the All Island Open Ranking Under-15 and 18 table tennis tournament held at the S. Thomas’ Indoor Stadium in April 10.
The Western Province Table Tennis Association conducted only these age categories due to the prevailing health situation in the country. This tournament is approved by the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka and is an annual held event listed in the TTASL tournament calendar.
The under-15 boys segment attracted 71 players while 53 players competed in the girls category. In the under-18 boys age group a line-up of 58 players and 44 players in the girls Under-18 category contested.
Yohan Deshappriya, a former national player was the chief guest and presented the certificates to the champions.

Girls under-15: Bimandee Bandara beat Oneli Lehansa 11/3, 11/3, 11/5.
Boys under-18: Senura Silva beat Chandupa Alahakoon 5/11, 15/13, 11/6, 3/11, 11/7.
Girls under-18: Bimandee Bandara beat Jithara Warnakulasuriya 11/8, 11/6, 13/11.
