Eight schools advanced to the quarter finals of the Under 19 inter schools Division Three tier ‘A’ tournament conducted by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA).
Ibbagamuwa Central College beat Loyola College Negombo by two wickets and Methodist High School Moratuwa beat Ananda Sastralaya Kotte by 100 runs in the pre quarter finals.
St. Joseph’s College Wattala beat St. Aloysius College Ratnapura by six runs and Rajasinghe Central College Hanwella beat Nalanda Boys College Minuwangoda eight wickets in their pre quarter finals.
Vidyaloka College Galle beat Badulla Central College by five wickets and Jaffna Central College beat Royal College, Polonnaruwa by seven wickets in their pre quarter finals.
St. Mary’s College Matugama beat Carey College Colombo by 88 runs and CWW Kannangara Central College Matugama beat Ananda Sastralaya Matugama by two runs in their pre quarter finals.
The quarter finals have been put on hold due to the current pandemic situation in the country.
