The Ramadan festival

14 May, 2021

Ramadan is celebrated by Muslims all over the world. It is also known as Eid- Ul- Fitr. Muslims fast for one month. It is the month of Ramadan. During this month, they lead a pure and holy life.

They observe fasts and do special prayers. When the month of Ramadan is over, Muslims celebrate Eid. It is the first day of the Shawwal month. It is a day of cheerfulness, celebration and feasting.

Muslims wear new clothes and go to the mosque in the morning.

They greet each other, share sweets and gifts with neighbours. It is a joyful festival but I am sad because we are unable to go ou this time too.
