Sri Lanka Athletics (SLA) has put off the Junior National Championship by two days with the intention of selecting athletes who qualify for the World Junior Athletic Championship. This was earlier scheduled to be held on July 25 and will now be held on July 27 at the Sugathadasa Stadium.
SLA has also planned to limit the number of events
This will be the final chance for the junior athletes to qualify for the World Junior Athletic Championships that will be held in Kenya from August 17 to 22. (TBR)
