Opposition and Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) Leader Sajith Premadasa presented medical equipment worth Rs.3,030,000 to the Kinniya Base Hospital on Thursday. The equipment was handed over to the MOH, of Kurinchakerny area Dr. A.M. Ajith was a representative of the Development Committee of Kinniya Base hospital at the office of the Leader of the Opposition. The donation was made in line with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa’s “Vipakshayen Husmak” program and was in response to a request by Trincomalee District MP Imran Mahroof.The United People’s Power has provided medical equipment to the value of Rs.68,874,000 in 23 phases.The event was attended by Dr. Sawban, Nursing Officer Noushad and Hospital Development Committee Member Nibras Rahmatullah.
