My home town is Kandy. It is a very beautiful town and is the second largest town in Sri Lanka. Kandy is famous for the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic which has the right tooth relic of the Buddha. There are more interesting places in Kandy such as the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, Kandy lake, Udawatte Kale Sanctuary and the Bahirawakanda Buddha statue. Kandy has a cool climate and is a famous tourist destination. I love my home town Kandy.
