The television is a popular device which is used to get information and entertainment. It has become popular and now almost every household has a television set.
The inventor of television is John Logie Baird.
The television offers educational programs which enhance our knowledge. We can get local and foreign news from the television. It is a great source of entertainment too.
Sometimes, the television can be harmful too.
If we devote most of our time to television it can affect our eyesight.
Much violence is shown on TV programs and this can affect the young minds of children. Some children get addicted to TV and neglect their school work.
TV is very useful but it must be used properly.
