Milinda Rajapaksa appointed as Additional Director General of Govt Information Dept

Former Director of the National Media Centre for Development Milinda Rajapaksa has been appointed Additional Director General of the Government Information Department. Mass Media Minister Dullas Alahapperuma handed over the letter of appointment to Rajapaksa recently. Rajapaksa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the Wayamba University and a Postgraduate Degree in Development Media from the University of Miami in the US. He has worked as a United Nations Asia-Pacific Policy Analyst and as Head of the International Organisation for Parenthood’s South Asia Region Youth Section.
