The Indian Premier League (IPL) was shifted from India to recommence in the UAE after four months due to a high rise in the number of coronavirus cases.

But it appears the virus has followed the cricketers into the UAE and already one player, Sunrises Hyderabad bowler T. Natarajan has tested positive and has been directed to spend 10 days in quarantine before he could rejoin what is being called the Bubble from which players are restricted from moving out.

Natarajan tested positive before Sunrises match against the Delhi Capitals and six others in the Sunrises camp were placed in isolation and later tested negative.

Natarajan has played in 25 IPL matches taking 20 wickets.

His case is reported to have driven fear and raised concerns among many attending the matches including spectators.
