A former lawyer now an author, Kristin was born on the September 25, 1960 in California. She graduated with a degree in communication from Washington University and worked at an Advertising agency in Seattle. Her first novel was written with the help of her mother, who was dying of cancer but sadly it was never published!

Some amazing books by Kristin are, The Nightingale, Firefly Lane, Great Alone, Four Winds, Winter Garden, and much more. Hannah has written over 20 interesting books of fiction and several novels as well. The Nightingale is currently one of the best-selling books, with over 4.5 million copies and translated into 45 languages, all around the world. It was also awarded the title ‘Goodreads Best Historical Fiction Novel 2015’. Home Front, The Nightingale and Great Alone have also been produced into films. Firefly Lane is now an ongoing Netflix too.

Kristin lives in Bainbridge Island, with her husband and son.
