The Board of Trustees of the Kollupitiya Jumma Mosque had organised a farewell ceremony for the Officer-in-Charge of the Kollupitiya Police Station Sumith Gunaratne who was promoted Assistant Superintendent of Police recently.
The ceremony was held at the Jumma Mosque premises.
Vice President of the Mosque Muslim Salahudeen presented the Holy Quran in translated to Sinhala to the OIC Gunaratne.
Imams of the Mosque Ash Sheikh M.I. Saeed Jemshid, Ash Sheikh Hafiz M.B.M. Rizawan, Ash Sheikh M.I. Salman and Members of the Board of Trustees were present.
