Shadisha Rajapakse of Royal College shot to the lead in the vote count of the Sunday Observer-SLT Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year contest after he grabbed the top slot.

Joes player Dunith Wellalage has dropped to take the second slot.

In the girls segment Nimesha Tharuni from Marapola MV continues to lead.
