In celebration of its 82nd anniversary in trailblazing Sri Lankan Banking and Finance Industry, Bank of Ceylon (BOC) organized an all-night Pirith Chanting to invoke blessings of Noble Triple Gem on the Bank, its staff and customers. The annual event that takes place in line with the Bank’s anniversary in August had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. The Bank’s Buddhist association organized the event following all safety guidelines to ensure the safety of the participants.
The Bank of Ceylon’s Chairman Kanchana Ratwatte, General Manager K.E.D. Sumanasiri, Additional General Manager Russel Fonseka, members of the Corporate and Executive Management along with banks’ other officialsand well wishers of the Bank participated for this ceremony.
