Army’s Ajith wins 65kgs title

MC Ajith of Army SC clinched the 65kgs weight class title at the Mr. Novice Bodybuilding Championships held at the Hyde Park Ground in Colombo.

This outdoor meet conducted by the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation in collaboration with the Colombo Municipal Council also marked the return of local bodybuilding events after a lapse of nearly two years.

Over 200 competitors including promising bodybuilders from the north and east of the country also showcased themselves in different weight categories.

Organisers said more meets have been lined up for the ensuing year.
