The Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation, the only professional body in Sri Lanka dedicated to imparting tax knowledge, appointed a new Executive Council at its 21st Annual General Meeting at its new auditorium at No.484, Havelock Road, Colombo 6 recently.

The entity incorporated by Parliamentary Act No. 21 of 2000 has been in operation as an institute recognised as the national body for tax professionals. Last year it marked its 29th anniversary serving the community by disseminating tax knowledge and producing quality tax consultants. The Institute is governed by an Executive Council elected at an Annual General Meeting.
