16 January, 2022

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Western Province Badminton Association has been put off due to the findings of mismanagement of funds by the hierarchy of the Association.

The Sunday Observer learns that the news of the missing funds had been reported to the Sports Ministry that is expected to conduct an inquiry into the case.

Meanwhile, the controlling body for badminton has enlisted a coach from Indonesia who will take charge of the national pool until the Commonwealth Games are held. However, Trevor Reckerman the CEO is also retained in the same position but some of his duties will be transferred to the manager.
