The Prefects Investiture 2021 of York International School Kadawatha was held recently.
The chief guest, Director - Shipping Agency Services, Capt. Nimal Jayasooriya and the guests, the Management of York Group, Chairman Rohan Perera, Director Roshane Perera, CEO Rohan L Perera, the Principals of the network, Srinali Perera, Surandi Mallawarachchi and the School Principal, Wathsala Senanayake were present on the occasion. The newly elected prefects ceremonially took on their responsibilities amid the blessings of their parents and teachers for the academic year 2021/2022.
Capt. Nimal Jayasooriya emphasised on five qualities to practice: Gratefulness, Honesty and integrity, Obedience, Keep away pride and arrogance, Be forgiving always.
The Prefects themed their Investiture, "Inspired to Inspire".
