A tribute to Mothers

Mother of mine

Mother of mine You gave to me
All of my life To do as I please
I owe everything I have to you.
Mother, sweet mother of mine...

Mother is not just a word, it’s an emotion. A mother is an important human being compared with anything else in this world. A mother sacrifices her pleasure just for the sake of her child in ways that one could never imagine. Mothers play highly responsible roles in the upbringing of their children.

Whether a child will be good or bad in the future will depend on the mother. Mothers share a deep bond with their children and even fathers cannot develop this bond. A child can share his or her secrets with a mother without any fears or worries. This is because a child trusts the mother completely. In fact, he or she trusts the mother more than anyone else in the world.

We consider mothers as a precious gift from God. Without them our lives would be dark and gloomy. Therefore, it is our duty to help and support our mothers.

A mother’s heart is so pure because she has that forgiving nature. Even if at times we hurt her she is always ready to forgive. No matter how many times we do wrong our mothers will always forgive and protect us.

A mother is a gem in everyone’s life. She is the utmost source of happiness for her family. Mothers never expect anything from us in return for their contributions. They only want their children to achieve and go ahead in life. They live through their children’s happiness. For me, my mother is the symbol of love, sacrifice and courage.

A loving mother

Mother is the most important person after God. The most important person for someone is his or her mother. We have seen this world and were born because of our mothers. They are amazing and selfless.

My mother’s name is Chandima. She is a primary teacher at guidance International School Kesbewa. She is 47 years old.

For me, she is the best mother in the world. I love her very much. My mother takes care of me and my siblings.

She is doing her best for the family. She has sacrificed so much for our family.

Bonding with my mother is the most important thing in my life. The mother does everything for her children. without any expectations.

Early in the morning she cooks food and feeds us. She makes delicious food. My mother prepares milk rice and it is the best.

She does almost every household chore alone.

My mother teaches me and she always assists me to do my homework. My mother can play chess and she teaches me to play chess. When I am sick, she’s very worried, she is always with me and she never sleeps the whole night.

Our mother gave us birth and let us see this beautiful world. I love my mother so much. I wish to stay with my mother forever in my life.

My world, my star, my mother

My mother may seem ordinary to the outside world, but to me she is a superhero, an inspiration, and most of all, my best friend. She suffered much in giving birth to me, but she never gave up. In every step of my life, she has supported and encouraged me. Whether day or night, under any circumstance, she has always been there for me.

Her amazing qualities such as persistence, devotion, and dedication are an inspiration to me. My mother’s every action and her wholesome conduct is an inspiration too.

She never hesitates to compromise her needs and ensure that ours are met first. She is the best gift I have ever received.

My mother gives me unconditional love and protects me, without expecting anything in return. Her positive attitude and skills have broadened my strength to stay calm in challenging situations. I aspire to be like her and inculcate all her wonderful qualities.

For me, my mother is the symbol of love, honesty, truth, and compassion. She is an amazing woman.

No one can ever love us like our mothers do. Mothers worldwide are the pillars of strength for countless families. Not just my mother but every mother out there, who lives her life for her family deserves praiseworthy applause. Every mother is special for her children. She is a great teacher, a lovely friend, and a strict parent. She takes care of the needs of the whole family.

One day is not enough to celebrate motherhood and show her our gratitude, so we should make every day as special as Mother’s Day to shower our love upon our mothers. It doesn’t always have to be extravagant; telling her that you love her, praising her cooking - such simple gestures can make her day extra-special.
