The harvesting ceremony of the Fresh Water Fishing Project implemented by EHED Caritas in the Fresh Water fish breeding Centres in the Ampara District was held recently under the patronage of the Director of EHED Caritas, Rev. Fr. A. Jesuthasan. The project was designed to eradicate poverty and to ensure food security among the fishing folk of Theevukkaalai in the Alayadivembu Divisional Secretariat Division.
