The annual feast of the Periyapullumalai Shrine of Our lady of Holy Rosary at Badulla Road, Batticaloa, was celebrated recently. The flag-hoisting ceremony of the Shrine took place on May 6 following the Novena. The festive Mass was concelebrated by the Bishop of Batticaloa, Rt. Rev. Dr. Joseph Ponniah, Administrator of the Church, Rev. Fr. Pethuru Jeevaraj and Rev. Fr. Antony Jeevaraj.
