The second annual MHA 9-a-side hockey tournament organized by the Mercantile Hockey Association (MHA) will be held on September 3 at the Astro Turf complex Torrington.
The following 14 teams will participate in three divisions: A Division – Commercial Bank A, HNB A, MAS Group, Sampath Bank A; B Division – Allianz Insurance, Commercial Bank B, Hayley’s Group, HSBC; C Division – Airport Aviation, Browns Group, HNB B, John Keells Group, Seylan Bank, Singer Sri Lanka.
The first match will commence at 7.30 am with the C division and finals from 4.00 pm onwards, followed by the awards ceremony. The league and knock tournament awards will also be presented at the occasion.
The chief guest will be Gihan de Silva, Head of Marketing Swisstek Aluminium Limited.
